Making New Series.

A friend of mine and I talked last night, about stuff relating to my Aeons and Omnis not being really accepted, and he suggested I make an 100% new series, with some characters. I will be honest, I was a bit daunted about that idea, but I’ve been spending the morning coming up with new series, even one starring Mika, as the lead character.

I think after working on AD and other stories over and over again, it’s time to round up some of my characters and put them in separate series. I’m even coming up with one with the characters being human. I’m gonna spent today, developing new ideas. Anyways, that’s it. Peace and have a good one.

Let’s be honest. Most people just want to see my female characters, and stuff with them, so I’m coming up with ideas with just making them the center of my stories for now on. All girl stories seem to do overall better than the type of stories I was trying to create, anyways, especially in Japan. An example is Touhou, Skullgirls, Arcana Heart and other stories/games.

Besides, I’ll be frank. Most people don’t like LJ as a character, except for the friends/fans of mine, that are into him. I don’t think they believe he’s an interesting character, so more than likely, I’m gonna replace him with Liana and make him a background character, after my current stories.

It’ll be odd to have a main character that is female, but let’s see how that goes. Peace and have a good one.

Books, Ideas and the Like.

Okay. I’ll be frank. After Neo Fureza Heroes and the short story collection I’m working on, I think I’m gonna be done with books. More and more everyday, I think about how much easier it is to just animate, and rotoscope than it is to print up a book. However, I think distribution with a finished animated short is much harder, than it is for a printed book.

The reason for this, is its harder to post your video anywhere, and get a huge view rate, because so many others are doing the same thing, competing with one another, and sometimes the quality being better than yours. However, you shouldn’t give up, besides practice makes perfect. Or practicing makes your content better, nothing man-made is “perfect”. *laughs*

Anyways, I’ll see how next month goes with animation. I need a special stylus if I’m gonna animate on the go anyways. I’m also thinking of making a new story or animation, with LJ and current characters in AD, or Neo Fureza Heroes not being the main focus, and maybe even making the dragon princess, Elise the main focus of this new story.

Getting My Edge Back.

I will say, a lot of stress in my life that went on, caused me to stop drawing as much, for weeks to months. And since then, I can tell, I need to work on getting my edge back. Quality went down a tad, and I’m gonna work on making it as great as it was, earlier this year and late last year. I noticed the quality drop, when I opened up and looked at older sketchbooks and art collections of mine.

So, time to improve. Anyways, that’s it. Peace and have a great one.
